As the leading organization dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusive policies and practices in international education, Diversity Abroad launched the annual Survey on Diversity & Inclusion Among International Educators to help the field make informed decisions on how we hire, develop professionals and create inclusive employment practices in our offices, organizations, institutions, and ultimately the field.

We are excited to announce the launch of our annual survey of Diversity & Inclusion Among International Educators! The 2022 survey continues to expand on questions addressing the climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and now explores the career transitions that have taken place and what those changes look like; so that we can continue to attract and retain the best talent. We encourage you to take the survey and share it widely with your networks.

Thank you for your participation in the survey. We will be presenting the results from the survey during our 2023 Think Forward Summit on January 24, 2023.

2019 Survey of Diversity & Inclusion Among International Educators

With nearly double the response rate and the addition of several questions related to the institutional/organizational climate of inclusion, the 2019 report is a rich source of information for practitioners, scholars, and others interested in better understanding the profession of international education and cultural exchange. New to the 2019 survey, several questions addressed a sense of belonging, a contemporary addition to the conversation around diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace that emphasizes connection, support, and respect.
